The $935.1 million expansion project is set to build a 1.4 million-square-foot building that will include at least 600,000 square feet of new leasable exhibition space at the northwest corner of Paradise Road and Convention Center Drive.
Once the new exhibit hall opens, renovation will begin, with crews working to update the Convention Center’s four existing exhibition halls over a two-year period. The total value of the expansion and renovation project is estimated at $1.4 billion. The new exhibition hall is expected to be completed by December 2020, ready to host the largest CES event ever for exhibitors and visitors in 2021. This significant investment will further solidify Las Vegas as the premier destination for the trade show industry. In 2018, the city hosted 47 of the largest shows and has been the #1 trade show destination in North America for 25 consecutive years, according to the Trade Show News Network (TSNN).
